What should I do when my child acts like the neighbor kid next door?
My child will play with neighbor kid and when its time to come home my child will act like try to talk like and mimic the kids actions. What should I do? I have threatened to not let my child play anymore with the kid. I feel like the child I raised is morphing into the neighbor kid.
My child tries use the same voice and annoying facial expression ect. She kind of looks like she is a child with special needs because of the way she looks when she is doing it.
Let your child know that you will not tolerate behavior that is inappropriate (if that’s what’s going on). If he/she is just mimicking the neighbor child, is that a bad thing? I’m not really sure, you’ve left out pertinent information. Is your child behaving badly or using foul language? I guess more information would help to understand what is going on. Sorry I’m not able to help very much.
